Owner of Captain Cook Coin Co., Craig Watanabe, has over 52 years of numismatic experience. His business has been open since 1972.

The name of the business derives from the 1928 Captain Cook commemorative half dollar coin.

Craig has written articles for several coin publications and provides info for the “Grey Sheet” and the “Green Sheet” Both are among the few widely used wholesale guides for coins and currency.

Craig is Charter Member of  ICTA (Industry Council for Tangible Assets). The national legal watchdog and government industry go-between for the rare coin, precious metals,and tangible assetsindustry

Mr. Watanabe is an American Numismatic Association Life Member and an Authorized PCGS, NGC and ANACS Dealer.
